The vision of the Enough for All poverty reduction strategy is to co-create ‘A community where all Calgarians have the resources, means, choices and power to be a thriving participant in society.’

However, our collective understanding of the drivers of poverty and the local context for reducing poverty have significantly evolved since the original strategy was published in 2013. Much has changed in the local, provincial and national context since implementation got underway in January 2015.

Consequently, we are reviewing and refreshing the Enough for All Strategy to ensure that it remains relevant to the needs of Calgarians. By providing leadership, fostering collaboration and championing social justice and pragmatic action, the refreshed strategy seeks to inspire real progress toward the goal of cutting poverty in Calgary in half by 2023.

None of this can be achieved without the input of our key stakeholders and the community at large. Vibrant Communities Calgary and the Enough for All Refresh Steering Committee will provide some new directions and a framework for going forward. We are seeking your feedback and response. Your input will inform the redrafting of Enough for All.

Please save-the-date September 26, 2018 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and register online.

Location to be determined. Light refreshments will be served.
