What drives Cori to push for a Calgary where there is Enough for All

"It is the clear income disparity in our community and the disproportionate impact this disparity has on women that motivates my work with VCC. Women don’t always fit the picture of poverty people have in their heads. Couch surfing and working two jobs to support yourself and your kids just isn’t what people see when they think of poverty. There are so many amazing things about living in Calgary and Alberta but so many in our community just don’t have equal access to those benefits. The focused work of VCC on the levers of change gives me hope that we can make this better in our great city."
