Discovery House

Discovery House works with families fleeing domestic violence, providing a safe place to call home and services to help them heal and rebuild their lives. They house hundreds of families in a variety of housing including their 19-unit transition shelter and in housing units across the city, providing customized supports like counselling, financial empowerment programming and more. Their mission is to end the traumatic cycle of domestic violence for families.
