What drives James to push for a Calgary where there is Enough for All

“I've lived in Calgary for most of my life -- from a kid being raised through those lean years in the eighties to a university graduate looking for work. And while I've been fortunate to have had opportunities that allowed me and my wife to create great lives for our two girls; others in our community have not been so lucky. Poverty is not someone else's problem. Tackling the growing disparity as our city continues to "grow up," is everyone's responsibility, including mine. I hope the work that me and the board, along with the incredible devoted staff at Vibrant Communities Calgary and its partners, will encourage others in our community to get involved in their own ways, and help eliminate poverty in Calgary.”
