Catholic Family Service (CFS) provides numerous programs and services, serving all Calgarians, that help reduce poverty in Calgary. With specific intersections with the Early Learning and Care, Physical and Mental Health, Financial Empowerment and Adult Literacy and Foundational Learning levers, there are many opportunities to work together.
CFS understands that relationships and families are complex, so they listen and work to see life through another person’s experience. They know that when people feel accepted, safe and understood, things start to change.
CFS has a wide range of counselling, education and community outreach programs to equip people with the knowledge and skills to deal with issues and live life to its fullest. CFS areas of focus are mental health and well-being, empowering parents, healthy children and success in school.
