    Courtney (B.A. Psychology & History, M.A. Education) has worked in financial empowerment and poverty reduction for more than 10 years as a program manager, policy researcher, and advocate at all orders of government. She is the Director of Community Impact at Momentum, a Calgary-based social enterprise focusing on systemic and root causes of poverty and offering a wide variety of income and asset-building programs for people living on low-incomes. She is passionate about collaborative social policy development; most recently on the issues of high-cost credit, children’s education savings, financial coaching, income support and basic income policies, and improving the oversight of private career colleges.
