Lana Bentley has spent her career championing women and girls. In her first full year as Executive Director of the Women’s Centre of Calgary, Lana nearly doubled the Centre’s impact, helping more than 11,700 women, girls, gender diverse individuals and families in 2025.
Lana came to the Women’s Centre in late 2024, after previously working for close to a decade at YW Calgary. A family therapist by training, Lana is also an award-wining instructor and the longest serving contract faculty member at Mount Royal University.
She loves teaching the next generation of counsellors and has been doing so for more than 15 years. When she’s not working or volunteering, you can find Lana on the ski hill, cheering on the Toronto Raptors, or adding to her ever-growing sneaker collection.
