The Worker’s Resource Centre empowers Alberta workers to understand their rights and provides them with free support when times get tough. When workers face issues at work such as improper pay, injury, disability, discrimination, job loss, etc., they can access one-one-one support with a caseworker who can help them understand their options and support them through complaints processes and program applications (i.e. Employment Standards, Alberta Human Rights Commission, Employment Insurance, CPP-Disability, AISH, etc.). The Workers' Resource Centre also provides free public education workshops with community organizations across Alberta, translating complex legal concepts into accessible information for workers about their rights.
