Enough for All Strategy 2013

Calgary is a prosperous city with a strong economy, the highest average income and lowest unemployment rate in the country. Yet, in the midst of this prosperity poverty remains a reality. In 2010, there were 114,000 Calgarians living below the poverty line.1 Many more struggle just above the poverty line. A lack of savings and high levels of debt affect many families, and a significant number worry about not having enough money for housing and even for food.
