The City of Calgary's Home is Here strategy was presented for an annual update to City Council. VCC's Michelle James shared that VCC strongly supports the strategy but urges council to focus on non-market housing. “We strongly recommend that council continue its momentum in addressing Calgary’s most pressing housing challenges, recognizing that prioritizing housing solutions will support the well-being of Calgary’s most vulnerable and our city’s overall health and prosperity,” she said.
