On November 18th, 2024, Vibrant Communities Calgary (VCC) in collaboration with the Alberta Living Wage Network (ALWN released a new living wage of $24.45 per hour for Calgary. The new living wage is almost $10 per hour, or 63 percent, higher than Alberta’s minimum wage.
