Vibrant Communities Calgary's Meaghon Reid discussed the federal budget with the Calgary Herald.
Meaghon discussed the wins, including the grocery rebate, automatic tax filing and the new dental plan for nine million uninsured Canadians whose family income is under $90,000, but noted "There’s a lot of distress and a lot of panic . . . 21% of Calgarians can’t afford healthy food."
